Registration Committee Updates

Hi,

Here are a couple of things we need to work on for registration:

1.) Update the registration packet with new dates and any other modifications.

2.) We also need to start making a list of schools we will be sending out the applications to. And find out if there are any new teams that we can invite.

Also, I'm thinking of creating a classical dance circuit website where teams can register themselves as a competitive dance team, making it easier for them to be known. the goals is hopefully to increase the interest for other schools to start their own team and also exchange ideas and make the circuit larger. I've been messing around Wix and seeing what's available. They have an app for a forum which would be perfect for inter team communications. It's just an idea. Let me know what you guys think.

That's a pretty good list. Just be in contact with Vineet to make sure there aren't any new teams or you didn't miss any old teams.

And also, get us the registration packet as soon as possible! So we can give feedback.

Also, the circuit forum idea is already in progress. Sushma is currently working on planning the logistics of it. But we can see what ideas you have. We might be able to merge the ideas for a better website.

Sent the updated Registration packet to the Dhirana email. Also still looking for more teams. I've asked Shruti Revankar and Vineet Pradhan to help out too. We've found VCU as a new team to add to the email list too.

Added NCSU to my list, Pranathi's sister is currently out of country, so I will contact her when she gets back.

And we are thinking about having a Google Forms for them to submit the application.

I reached out to all teams from the list i posted before asking if they would like more information about Dhirana and asking for primary contact information. Received interest responses from:

Also Just sent and email to the Dhirana email updating the Reg packet I, and it should be good to go now. When are you guys thinking of putting the reg packet up? Also, if we decide to have it on google forms, will it be accessible on the Dhirana website? I'll email the teams with this information and where to find it once I know.

So, we want to send out the packets during the first week of the school. Also, we will put the packet online on the website so people can download the packet and submit it on their own.

The best way to do the online forms is to have a link within the packet which has the form itself and then have them share a video through google drive on their own to your google account.

If you need help with the google forms and google drive just text or call me. I should be able to help you now that I'm officially a google ambassador. lol.

Got first Registration From BU Dheem. But 3 of their dancers are studying abroad so they couldn't get them in the audition video. sent and email about this also.
Was out of town this weekend so didn't get the chance to make google doc yet, i'll do it when i get back.

Sent Reg Packet II to all accepted teams.

- Keep a spreadsheet to keep track of everything - when they submitted, is it on time.
- Talk to Vineet to make sure you have covered everything needed before the competition.
- When registration fees come in, give to Kamalini ASAP.
- Get total count of people coming from each team so we know how much money we expect.

all teams have sent in reg packet II part A. i think* all payment is in. Been trying to get in contact with ameer for who paid on ticket leap. So ill let you know as soon as I know.

-Still waiting for money and pictures from Rutgers. sent them a reminder email about it, haven't heard back. I gave them an deadline until tomorrow night, after that they will be charged a late fee.
